After the earthquake of 2015 destroyed many parts of Nepal, a silversmith named Dambar approached my husband, Ton, and I asking for help.

Dambar was born in a low caste village far from Kathmandu, he educated himself as a young man to become a silversmith and re-located to Kathmandu, Nepal

Not long after, a gentleman from the Netherlands saw the potential in Dambar and supported Dambar by bringing in Sterling Silver from the Netherlands in exchange for crafted jewelry Dambar could sell. For many years Dambar could support his family and the villagers he grew up with.

When the earthquake destroyed his low caste village birthplace, Mr Dambar relocated the young men from his village to his home in Kathmandu and trained them in his factory to be  silversmiths so they could rebuild back their village.

After Dambar approached us for help, we decided to build this shopping website for North America.
